Conditionals or Condition Sentence.

 

** Conditionals( অৱস্থা বা চৰ্ত):-

Conditional  মানে কিবা এটা চৰ্তপূৰণ হ'ল কিবা এটা কাম কৰা হ'ব বা সম্পন্ন হ'ব , ঠিক তেনেকুৱা বুজাই। ঠিক এইদৰে যিবোৰ শব্দই বা বাক্যই Condition বা চৰ্তৰ কথা কয় তেনেবোৰ বাক্যক Conditionals বোলা হয়।(Conditional means something is fulfilled that something will be done , that's exactly what it means. Similarly, words or sentences that speak conditions are called Conditionals.)
যেনে:-
1) If it rains, I shall not go.
=> যদি বৰষুণ দিয়ে মই নাযাওঁ ।
2) Unless he reads seriously he will fail to pass the examination .
=> যদি সি মনদি পঢ়াশুনা নকৰে পৰীক্ষাত অকৃতকাৰ্য হ'ব।
=>ইংৰাজী Grammar ত সাধাৰনতে তলত দিয়া চাৰি প্ৰকাৰৰ conditional পোৱা যায়।(English Grammar usually contains four types of conditional given below.)
1) Zero conditional ( conditional -0)
2) Open condition. ( conditional-1) or Probable condition( সম্ভাব্য চৰ্ত).
3) Imaginary condition.(conditional-2)or (Improbable condition)( সম্ভাৱনাহীন চৰ্ত).
4) Rejected condition.( conditional-3)or ( Impossible condition)( অসম্ভৱ চৰ্ত)
**1) Zero conditional:-সাধাৰনতে যিকোনো বাক্যত চিৰসত্য , অভ্যাগত আদি ঘটনা প্ৰকাশ কৰিলে Zero conditional বুলি কোৱা হয়।(It is said that Zero conditional when you express events like Universal truth, habits, etc. in any sentence.)
Structure of zero conditional:-
If/when+Present Indefinite, Present inde.
or
{If/When+S+V(s,es)+O},+{S+V(s,es)+O}
যেনে:-1) যদি আপুনি পানী গৰম কৰা হয়, তেন্তে ই উতলে।
=> If you heat water, it boils.
2) যদি তুমি বৰফ গৰম কৰা,তেন্তে ই গলে।
=> If you heat the ice, it melts.
3) যেতিয়া সূৰ্য উঠিব, তেতিয়া আন্ধাৰ আতৰি যায়।
=> When the sun rises, darkness disappears.
4) যদি আপুনি ৰ'দত অত্যাধিক দীঘলীয়া কৈ থাকে, আপোনাৰ ছাল জ্বলি যায়।
=> If you stay in the sun shine too long, your skin gets burnt.
5) যদি উদ্ভিদে পানী নাপায়, সিহঁত মৰি যায়।
=> If plants do not get water, they die.
6) যেতিয়া ঠাণ্ডা হয়, উলৰ কাপোৰ পিন্ধিব।
=> When it's cold, put on woolen clothes.
7) যদি আপুনি বৰফ গৰম কৰা হয়, ই পানীলৈ ঘূৰি যায়।
=> If you heat the ice, it goes back to the water.
2) Open condition(conditional-1):- যিবোৰ conditional এ চৰ্ত পৰিপূৰণ কৰিব পাৰি বা নোৱাৰি তাকেই Open Condition বা মুকলি চৰ্ত বোলা হয়।(conditional which can or cannot meet a condition is called Open Condition.)
Structure:-
{If/when/Unless+Simple Present},+{Simple Future or will/ May/Might/could}
or
{If/when/unless+S+V₁(s,es)+O}+{S+Shall/will+V₁+O}
যেনে:-1)যদি তেওঁ আহে মই কাৰ্যালয়লৈ যাম।
=> If it he comes,I shall go to office.
2)যদি তুমি আহা,মই তোমাৰ লগত যাম।
=>If you come,I shall go with you.
3)যদি বৰষুণ আহে,মই ঘৰতে থাকিম।
=>If it rains, I shall stay at home.
4) যেতিয়া তেওঁলোক আহিব, তেওঁ কামটো কৰিব।
=> When they come,he will do the work.
5) যদি মই তেওঁক লগ পাওঁ, মই আনন্দিত হ'ম।
=> If I meet him,I shall be glad.
6) যদি আপুনি তালৈ যােৱা, আপুনি মহিমাক লগ পাবা।
=> If you go there, you will meet Mahima.
7) যদি তুমি নিয়মিতভাৱে পঢ়া , তুমি পাছ কৰিবা।
=>If you read regularly , you will pass.
8) যদি তুমি কঠোৰ পৰিশ্ৰম কৰা, তুমি সফল হবা।
=> If you work hard,you will succeed.
9) যদি মই সময় পাওঁ, তোমাৰ ঘৰলৈ যাম।
=> If I have time, I shall visit your home.
10) যদি তুমি প্ৰথম স্থান পোৱা, মই তোমাক পুৰস্কাৰ দিম।
=> If you stand first, I shall reward you.
11) যদি সি আহে,মই যাম।
=> If he comes,I shall go.
12) যদি তুমি আমাৰ গাৱলৈ আহা, আমি ফুৰিবলৈ যাম।
=> If you come to our village, We shall go for a walk.
13) যদি তুমি বিচাৰা মই ইয়াৰ ওপৰত অন্য এটা বিডিঅ বনাম।
=> If you want, I shall make an another video on it.
14) যদি তুমি তাক নিমন্ত্ৰন কৰা সি সভাখনলৈ আহিব।
=> If you invite him,he will come to the meeting.
15) যদি মোৰ দেউতাই মোক যাবলৈ অনুমতি দিয়ে, মই তালৈ যাম।
=> If my father allows me to go there,I shall go.
16) যদি বৰষুণ দিয়ে মই বাহিৰলৈ নাযাওঁ।
=> If it rains , I shall not go out.
17) যদি তুমি ভালদৰে নপঢ়া , তুমি ফেইল কৰিবা।
=> If you do not study well, you will fail.
18) যদি তুমি নিমন্ত্ৰণ কৰা , মই তোমাৰ ঘৰলৈ যাম।
=> If you invite, I shall go your home.
19) যদি তাই দিল্লীলৈ যায়, তাই তাজমহল ভ্ৰমণ কৰিব।
=> If she goes to Delhi, She will visit to Tazmahal.
20) যদি তুমি আহা , সি তোমাক লগ কৰিব।
=> If you come, he will meet you.
21) যদি তুমি কঠোৰ পঢ়া , তুমি পৰীক্ষাত পাছ হবা।
=> If you read hard , you will pass the exam.
22) যদি তুমি খেলা, আমি মেচখনত জিকিম।
=> If you play, we shall win the match.
23) যদি ছোৱালীজনী চিঠিখন লিখে, মই চিঠিখন post কৰিম।
=> If girls writes the letter, I shall post the letter.
** পৰিস্থিতি সাপেক্ষে:-
24) যদি লৰাজন শুই আছে, মই ৰান্ধিম।
=> If the boy is sleeping, I shall cook.
25) যদি সি কামবোৰ কৰিছে, আমি তেওঁক Pay কৰিম।
=> If he has done the work, we will pay him.
26) যদি তুমি কাম কৰি আছা,মই পাছত আহিম।
=> If you are working, I shall come later on.
27) কঠোৰ পৰিশ্ৰম নকৰিলে তুমি কৃতকাৰ্য ন'হবা।
=> If you do not work hard, you will not suceed.
28) তেওঁ ঢুকালে পৰিয়ালটোৰ সৰ্বনাশ হ'ব।
=> If he dies, the family will be ruined.
** যদি open conditional ত Negative sentence হয় তেতিয়া তলত উল্লেখ কৰা ধৰণৰ Structure ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হব।(If Negative sentence in open conditional then the following type of Structure will be used.)
{If+S+don't/doesn't+V₁+O},+{S+Shall/Will+V₁+O} -> affirmative. or{ S+Won't+V+O}->Negative.
  or{Q.ward+Will+S+V+O}->interrogative .
{ Unless+S+V(s,es)+O}
যেনে:-1) যদি তুমি ভাত নোখোৱা,তুমি দূৰ্বল হবা।
=> If you do not eat rice,you will become weak.
or Unless you eat rice, you will become weak.
2) যদি তাই মোৰ ঘৰলৈ নাহে, মই তাইক সহায় নকৰিম।
=>If she does not come my home,I will not help her.
or
Unless she comes my home, I will not help her.
3) যদি তুমি ভালকে নপঢ়া,তুমি পাছ নকৰিবা।
=> If you do not read well, you will not pass.
or
Unless you read well, you will not Pass.
4) যদি তাই স্কুললৈ নাহে, তাই কেনেকৈ শিকিব।
=> If she does not come to school, how will she learn?
5) যদি তেওঁ মোৰ ওচৰলৈ নাহে, তেন্তে মই যাম।
=> If he does not come to me, I shall go.
6) যদি সিহঁতে কামটো নকৰে, তেন্তে মই পইচা নিদিম।
=> If they do not do the work, I will not pay them.
7) যদি তুমি কাম নকৰা,পইছা কত পাবা?
=> If you do not do work, where will you get money?
8) যদি তুমি নপঢ়া,তুমি কেনেকৈ পাছ কৰিবা।
=> If you do read, how will you pass?
9) যদি তাই নাহে,তুমি কেতিয়া কল কৰিবা?
=> If she does not come, When will you call her?
** imaginary condition( conditional-2):-
যিবোৰ কথা সচাঁ নহয় বা বাস্তৱত হোৱা সম্ভৱ নহয়, তৰ্কৰ খাতিৰত, জোৰ দিয়া বুজাবলৈ , মনৰ ইচ্ছা, অভিলাষ আদি বুজাবলৈ লিখা হয়, তেনে sentence ক imaginary condition  প্ৰকাশৰ Sentence বুলি কোৱা হয়। সাধাৰনতে বৰ্তমানত ঠিয় হৈ যিবিলাক বস্তু আমি নহওঁ, কিন্তু কল্পনা কৰো তেনে ক্ষেত্ৰত আমি imaginary condition বা Conditional-2 ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়।(Sentence that are written to explain things that are not true or not in reality, in the case of arguments, to explain emphasis, to express the will of the mind, desire, etc., are called the Sentence of imaginary condition expression.We are currently using imaginary condition or Conditional-2 in things that we do not, but imagine.)
Structure :-
1/{If+S+Were+O},+{S+would/should+V₁+O}
যেনে:-(Were-হোৱা হলে)
1) যদি মই পুৰণি দিনৰ ৰজা হ'লোহেঁতেন।
=> If I were a king of the olden days.
2) মই মৰিলেহেঁতেন।
=> I wish I were dead.
3) তুমি মাৰাদোনা হোৱা হ'লে কি কৰিলাহেতেন?
=> What would you do if you were Maradona?
4) যদি মই চৰাই হোৱা হ'লে, মই উৰিলোহেঁতেন।
=>If I were a bird, I would fly.
5) তেওঁ ভাৰতৰ ৰাষ্ট্ৰপতি হোৱাৰ দৰেই কথা কয়।
=> He speaks as it he were the president of india.
6) যদি মই ছোৱালী হ'লোহেঁতেন, মোৰ মা-দেউতাই এতিয়া মোক বিয়া কৰাব।
=>If I were a girl, my parents would marry me off now.
7) যদি মই আপুনি হ'লোহেঁতেন, মই মোৰ সকলো বন্ধুক নিমন্ত্ৰণ কৰিম।
=> If I were you, I would invite all my friends.
8) যদি মই মোৰ ভায়েক হ'লোহেঁতেন, তেন্তে তেওঁ মোক বহুত ভাল পাব।
=> If I were my brother, he would love me much.
9) যদি মই এজন ডক্তৰ হ'লোহেতেন, মই বহুত পইছা উপাৰ্জন কৰিলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I were a doctor, I would earn a lot of money.
10) যদি মই এজন এক্টৰ হ'লোহেঁতেন মই মুম্বাইত থাকিলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I were an actor, I would stay in Mumbai.
11) যদি মই প্ৰধানমন্ত্ৰী হ'লোহেঁতেন, মই সকলোকে বাইক উপহাৰ দিম।
=> If I were the prime minister, I would present bike to all.
12) যদি আপুনি মোৰ বন্ধু হয়, মই আপোনাক সহায় কৰিম।
=> If you were my friend, I would help you.
13) যদি তাই ধনী হলহেঁতেন , তাই মোৰ বাবে কি কৰিলেহেঁতেন?
=> If she were rich, What would she do for me.
14) যদি তাই মোৰ ছোৱালীৰ বন্ধু হয়, মই তাইক বিয়া কৰাম।
=> If she were my girl friend , I would marry her.
15) যদি মই পুলিচ হ'লোহেঁতেন, মই আপোনাক গ্ৰেপ্তাৰ কৰিম।
=> If I were a police, I would arrest you.
16) যদি মই বাঘ হ'লোহেঁতেন, মই তোমাক হত্যা কৰিম।
=> If I were a tiger, I would kill you.
17) যদি তাই ধুনীয়া হয়, মই তাইক প্ৰস্তাৱ দিম।
=> If she were beautiful , I would propose her.
18) যদি মই আপুনি হ'লোহেঁতেন, মই সেই পোষ্টটো গ্ৰহণ নকৰো।
=> If I were you, I would not accept that post.
19) যদি মই আপুনি হ'লোহেঁতেন, মই আমন্ত্ৰণ গ্ৰহণ কৰা উচিত।
=> If I were you, I should accept the invitation.
20) যদি ভাগ্যৱান হয়, মই পৰীক্ষাত উত্তীৰ্ণ হোৱা উচিত।
=> If were lucky, I should pass the examination.
21) যদি ৰহিম মোৰ লগত থাকে, মই খোজ কাঢ়িবলৈ যাম।
=> If Rahim were with me, I would go for a walk.
22) তেওঁ যদি অসুস্থ হৈ পৰে......
=> If he should fall ill...
23) চহকী হোৱা হ'লে তেওঁ সুখী হ'লহেঁতেন।
=> If he were rich he would have been happy.
2/ {If+Simple Past}+{Should/would/could/Might}
or
{If+S+V₂+O},+{S+would+V₁+O}
1) যদি আপুনি কাইলৈ আহে, মই আপোনাৰ সৈতে যাম।
=>If you came tomorrow , I would go with you.
2) যদি আপুনি আন এটা চেষ্টা কৰে, আপুনি সফল হ'ব পাৰে।
=> If you made another attempt ,you might succeed.
3) যদি লৰা মোক সহায় কৰে, মই এতিয়া কামটো কৰিব পাৰিম।
=> If the boy helped me,I could do the work now.
4) যদি মই তাইৰ Ph.No জানিছিলো, মই তাইক বাতৰিটোৰ বিষয়ে অৱগত কৰিম।
If I Knew her Ph.No, I would inform her of the news.
5) যদি তাই মোক নিমন্ত্ৰণ কৰে, মই পাৰ্টিটো যুটীয়াভাৱে কৰিম।
=> If she invited me, I would joint the party.
6) যদি মই তালৈ যাওঁ, মই তেওঁক লগ পাম।
=>If I went there, I would meet him.
7) যদি মই তাইক ভাল পাওঁ,মই তাইক বিয়া কৰিম।
=> If I loved her, I would marry her.
8) যদি আজি ধুমুহা আহে, মই প্ৰথমতে তোমাক বচাম।
=> If it stormed today,I would save you at first.
9) যদি মই আগ্ৰালৈ যাওঁ, মই তাজমহল দেখিম।
=> If I went to Agra, I would see the Tazmahal.
10) যদি মোৰ বন্দু ইয়ালৈ আহে, মই তেখেতক এটা বাইক দিম।
=> If my friend came here, I would give him a motor bike.
11) যদি বৰষুণ আহে তেন্তে বতৰ ঠান্ডা হব।
=> If it rained, weather would be cold.
12) সেই জুইকুৰাত তুমি জপিয়াই পৰিলে পুৰি হৈ যাব।
=> If you jumped into that fire,you would be burnt to ashes.
13) তেওঁ গভীৰভাৱে অধ্যয়ন কৰা হলে পৰীক্ষাত উত্তীৰ্ণ হ'লহেঁতেন।
=> If he studied hard,he would pass his examination.
( Had-থকা অৰ্থত)
14) তেওঁ গাড়ী এখন থকা হ'লে নিজেই চলালেহেঁতেন।
=> If he had a car, he would drive it himself.
15) তেওঁলোকে যদি যাবলৈ সিদ্ধান্ত ল'লেহেঁতেন.....
=> If they had decided to go....
16) যদি মোৰ পইছা থকা হ'লে, মই বাইক কিনিলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I had money, I would buy a motor bike.
17) যদি মোৰ গাড়ী থকা হ'লে মই তোমাৰ লগত গুৱাহাটীলৈ গলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I had a car, I would go to Guwahati with you.
18) যদি তোমাৰ টকা নাথাকিলেহেঁতেন,তুমি কি কৰিলাহেঁতেন?
=> If you did not have money, What would you do?
19) যদি তোমাৰ ঘৰ নাথাকিলেহেঁতেন, তুমি ক'ত থাকিলাহেঁতেন?
=> If you did not have home, Where would you do?
20) যদি মোৰ মোবাইল থকা হ'লে, মই তোমাক ফোন কৰিলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I had a mobile phone, I would call/Phone you.
21) যদি মোৰ বহুত পইছা থকা হ'লে, মই দুখিয়াক দিলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I had a lot of money, I would gift the poor.
22) যদি মোৰ ছাইকেল নাথাকিলেহেঁতেন, মই বাছেৰে কলেজলৈ গলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I did not have a bicycle, I would go to college buy bus.
23) যদি তোমাৰ বহুত পইছা থকা হ'লে, তুমি মোক কি দিলাহেঁতেন?
=> If you had a lot of money, would you give me?
24) যদি তোমাৰ মটৰ চাইকেল থাকিলেহেঁতেন তুমি গোটেই দিনটো চলাই থাকিলেহেঁতেন?
=> If you had a motor bike, would you ride that all day through ?
25) যদি তোমাৰ গাড়ী নাথাকিলহেঁতেন তুমি খোজ কাঢ়ি কলেজলৈ গ'লহেঁতেনে?
=> If you did not have a car, would you go to the college on foot?
25) যদি মোৰ ব্যাকৰণ কিতাপ থকা হ'লে মই তোমাক দিলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I had grammar books, I would give you.
** Rejected condition.( conditional-3)or ( Impossible condition)( অসম্ভৱ চৰ্ত):-Reected conditional , সেইটোকে কোৱা হয়, যিটোৱে বুজাই যে কিবা চৰ্তৰ বাবে কাম কৰা সম্ভৱ নহ'ল।
1) মই যদি উপস্থিত থাকিলোহঁতেন মই এইটো হ'ব নিদিলোহেঁতেন।
=> If I had been present I would have stopped it.
2) মই তালৈ যোৱা হ'লে তেওঁক লগ পালোহেঁতেন।
=> If I had gone there, I would have met him.
3) তেওঁ পৰীক্ষাটো পাছ কৰা হ'লে চাকৰিটো পালেহেঁতেন।
=> If he had passed the examination, he would have got the job.
4) যদি মই তেওঁক জনা হ'লে, মই তেওঁক নিমন্ত্ৰণ কৰিলোহেঁতেন।
=>If I had known him, I would have invited him.
5) যদি তেওঁ অধ্যয়নত পৰিশ্ৰম কৰা হ'লে, তেওঁ পৰিক্ষাত পাছ কৰিলেহেঁতেন।
=> If he had studied hard, he would have passed the examination.
6) যদি আপুনি দিল্লীলৈ আহিছিল, আপুনি তাজমহল দেখিলেহেঁতেন।
=> If you had come to delhi, you would have seen Tazmahal.
7) যদি আপুনি আপোনাৰ হোমৱৰ্ক শেষ কৰিলে শিক্ষকে আপোনাক শাস্তি নিদিলেহেঁতেন।
=> If you had finished your homework teacher would have not punished you.
8) তেওঁ যদি ছোৱালীজনী বিয়া কৰালেহেঁতেন, তেওঁ আজি সুখী হ'লহেঁতেন।
=> If I had married the girl, he would be happy to day.
9) যদিহে আছিল ফোন নম্বৰটো, তুমি তেওঁক ফোন কৰিব লাগিছিল। বা যদি তোমাৰ তেওঁৰ ফোন নম্বৰটো থাকিলে, তুমি তেওঁক ফোন কৰিব লাগিছিল।
=> You had his phone number, you should have called him up.
10) যদি তুমি টেবলেটটো খালাহেঁতেন তুমি মৰিলাহেঁতেন।
=> If you had taken the tablet you would have died.
11) যদি সি ভালদৰে পঢ়িলেহেঁতেন তেওঁ প্ৰথম বিভাগত পৰীক্ষাত উত্তীৰ্ণ হলেহেঁতেন।
=> If he had studied well, he would have passed the examination in first division.
12) যদি মই সেই ঠাইলৈ গলোহেঁতেন সিহঁতে মোক মাৰি পেলালেহেঁতেন।
=> If I had gone there, they would have killed me.
13) যদি ডাক্তৰে ৰোগীজনক সময়মতে পালেহেঁতেন, তেওঁ ৰোগীজনৰ জীৱনটোক বচাব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন।
=> If the doctor had found the patient in time, he could or might have saved his life.
14) যদি মই লােকাই নাথাকিলোহেঁতেন ডকাইটবোৰ মোক মাৰিলেহেঁতেন।
=> If I had not hiding the robbess would have killed me.
15) যদি তুমি চাকৰিটো কৰি থাকিলাহেঁতেন তুমি নতুন গাঢ়ী এখন কিনিব পাৰিলাহেঁতেন।
=> If you had been doing the job, you could have purchased a new car.
16)যদি মই মোৰ স্কুলীয়া জীৱনত পৰিলোহেঁতেন, আজি মই শ্ৰমিক হিচাপে নাথাকিলেহেঁতেন।
=> If I had studied well in my school life, I would not be working as a labourer today.
17) যদি মই তালৈ গলোহেঁতেন,মই তেওঁক লগ পালোহেঁতেন।
=> If I had been there, I would have met him.
18) যদি মই পঢ়িলোহেঁতেন মই ডাক্তৰ হলোহেতেন।
=> If I had studied, I would have become a doctor.
